Exploration of landscape through material and surface.

Taken from a drawing made around Nottingham from the business district. Shapes and lines were 
selected to become negative space in a cutout of the drawing. This created interesting 
shadows when light was directly shone on them. In these photos composition and line has been 
considered as well as the strong contrast of light and dark, creating impact. 

Several pages from my current sketchbook, exploring the idea of nature and landscape in relation to the

human body. Looking at the curves and contours of body and landscape and their interaction.
